That kind of coding is also where we get future self into trouble. Revisiting coding and having to figure out what the hell they were trying to do. They were just vibing, man. To read the code again, you have to rediscover that vibe, which may not be possible.
That describes all the coding I’ve written for decades now…even a side thing for work to automate stuff. I’ll be the first to admit I hack things until they work well enough and don’t legit code. Obviously coding isn’t my profession, that wouldn’t last long.
I never considered this, and I hope it’s not true.
It’s not confused. That implies it understands what it wrote. The probability of g meaning grams must be higher than the force of gravity, even with the context. So grams was included in the generation of predicted text. Maybe it’s because g and G are both often used for gravity, where grams is always lower case.
I disagree that it’s confined to an age group, but put into the category of speakerphone when inappropriate would be the people with their phone call paired to their car’s speakers, turned way up. I agree with a posted solution, either join in, visibly listen in, or just stare at them.
It’s worse in the southeast. If we get snow, it ends up partially melting and refreezing into ice which then shuts everything down. Then we have to live through the “you don’t know how to drive in snow” when the snow is now a slick sheet that no plow can remove. The more we can miss out on that, the better.
It’s interesting in how it combines three different tests - visualization of both the targets and the field to move them in, comprehension of what the task is, and correct movement. I had to take a second to understand the whole point myself.
On the subject of returns (Amazon and others) Climate Town just did a video on it, and holy shit. Even knowing the problem the scale is hard to take in.
