I kinda wonder why the billionaires only have super-yachts and not aircraft carriers

cons: significantly more expensive, don’t work in total darkness, don’t catch attention
freedom of expression does also matter, how much more distracting is this compared to if it was made with retroreflectors? Could these lights be confused for hazards? Is this any different than having a glowing “taxi” sign on a taxi?
yes, you can, and I would expect an “ad-free” service to do so, at minimum replace it with a “commercial break” sign and preferably adding extra commentary.
some say dangerous others say humorous
USPS charges a not insignificant amount for shipping heavy items to Alaska (excluding media mail that frequently takes months and few retailers ever use). If physical stores sold anything at a reasreasonable price (aside from off season fishing /hunting /cold equipment) fewer people would use Amazon.
if solar was incentivized to have batteries, power factor correction, and (if the power companies can shut off the connection at the house during service to prevent backfeding) use frequency correcting inverters.
Exactly why personal solar energy will hit a tipping point as the rates rise drastically as more users use zero to negative energy. Those that cannot afford solar will suffer, but the Environmental impact will probably be reduced.
not the busses
but does it have mommy issues?
I prefer having some sunlight in the winter to having none, as such I support standard time.
what if the clock runs several times too fast?
aren’t planes faster than helicopters though? I guess that doesn’t matter as much though as the yachts stupidly spend time near coasts normaly, but I still find it weird that there are AFAIK no privately owned aircraft carriers.
