Jesus. Most of these are for speeding in a school zone, which in some states or cities might not be that big of a deal, but in NYC where most people are walking… WTF?

Why does he hate the Bronx so much? He gets tickets in the other boroughs that have lots of Democrats… Or does he know how to “fix” these in the Bronx?

(I know why he doesn’t go to Staten Island, they all hate him there)

The school zone violations are the easiest to get but also the easiest to avoid. Usually 15-20 mph. Citywide speed limit 25; speed cameras start sending tickets if you go above like 32. Honestly surprising that Cuomo drives. Seems like a chauffeur driven guy to me.

The problem is his time is worth a lot more than those fines to him.

US Speeding fines are significantly lower than fines in Britain, France Germany, Australia or Asia. Contrarily to a common myth, US cities/states don’t finance themselves with speeding fines. It’s a tiny tiny drop in the bucket in the total budget.

One of the thing I noticed on US social media is that several american men (it’s always men) call major US cities crime-ridden democratic shitholes. They want harsh punishments for lawbreakers. These very same accounts don’t see breaking the law as a bad thing. Some even cheer attacks on cameras (destruction of public property). It’s actually insane that they don’t notice the hypocrisy.

Fines should scale with wealth. Millionaire wants to speed? Okay, pay a $100,000 fine.

These same accounts keep denouncing tickets and speed cameras.

This is common conservative “Outgroups to bind, in-groups to protect” dysfunction. They’re bad people.
